Orderliness in the Church

And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets." 1Co.14.32

I laugh as I read this verse, remebering a brother who once rendered its meaning as being: the spirit of junior prophets are subject to senior prophets.

Very funny, isn't it?

The verse speaks of self control required of someone with a revelation or a word. This is very essential for the purpose of order in the church.

It applies also to those who challenge their pastor in the name of being anointed to speak.

Pentecostalism should find its way back to orderliness.

Paul concluded succinctly: "Let all things be done decently and in order." 1 Cor 14:40
